Build strong command of the assigned export territory — its distribution channels, consumer behavior, competitive set, and regional nuances.
Shape and refine the marketing approach for that territory, taking accountability for sales outcomes, advertising, promotional activity, and profitability.
Own the marketing plan cycle for the territory — annual, mid-term, and long-term — and see plans through to execution.
Contribute to product and business development within the assigned market: supporting new launches, refining existing products (concept, packaging, design), and identifying cost efficiencies.
Maintain close, productive relationships with distributors, working to grow distribution and lift performance against company sales and profit goals.
Visit customers and assess on-the-ground market conditions as needed to keep export sales targets on track.
Pursue new market entry by introducing and promoting the product range in additional countries.
Handle customer inquiries promptly and accurately to build lasting trust with distributors and prospective buyers.
Track export order fulfillment to ensure delivery commitments are met and payments are collected on schedule.
Monitor accounts receivable aging to keep collections on time.
Compile reliable monthly sales and stock-movement reports to prevent both shortages and excess inventory.
Keep expense reporting accurate and up to date.
Contribute to supply chain and inventory planning efforts aimed at delivering customer value efficiently and sustainably.
Grow brand visibility in export markets through social media and targeted marketing campaigns, staying within the departmental budget.
Deepen consumer understanding of the product through promotional materials and outreach activities.
Help maintain compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, safety, halal, and food defense standards within the role's scope.
Travel outside the office as the role requires.
Carry out other tasks assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in export sales, international business, or distributor management, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.
Working knowledge of export documentation, trade compliance, and supply chain/logistics coordination.
Strong relationship-management skills, with experience liaising with overseas distributors and customers.
Good grasp of sales reporting, accounts receivable monitoring, and budget/expense tracking.
Familiarity with food safety, quality, halal, and regulatory compliance standards is an advantage.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
Strong written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus for regional market coverage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysis.
