Our client is an established Malaysian precision cutting tool manufacturer that serves high -value clients across diverse international markets. Driven by technical excellence and global expansion, they are seeking an experienced international sales professional to spearhead, manage, and grow selected overseas markets directly from their Malaysia headquarters.
Retain and proactively manage assigned overseas customers, distributors, dealers, and key OEM accounts.
Identify, map, and develop new customer leads, distributor networks, and channel opportunities within assigned international territories.
Support and streamline the complete onboarding and commercial development process for new overseas distributors.
Efficiently follow up on day -to -day business components, including customer enquiries, RFQs, quotations, sample provisioning, tool tests, and repeat orders.
Track open quotations, conversion statuses, lost -deal root causes, and define next -step commercial actions.
Coordinate closely with cross -functional internal teams to resolve matters relating to technical clarifications, product costing, pricing structures, delivery timelines, and customer issues.
Maintain highly accurate CRM and ERP records alongside consistent updates to the regional sales pipeline.
Provide senior management with regular, data -driven updates regarding customer opportunities, distributor progress, localized market feedback, and potential risks.
Actively drive revenue growth and protect gross profit margins across all assigned international markets.
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, International Business, or a related field of study.
Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of solid experience within international sales, B2B industrial sales, distributor network management, or technical commercial account management.
Industry Background: Proven experience handling overseas distributors, dealers, or industrial B2B accounts. Direct experience within manufacturing, engineering, machining, tooling, precision products, automotive, aerospace, electronics, or metalworking sectors is highly advantageous.
Technical & Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial sense, strict follow -up discipline, and excellent intercultural communication skills. Ability to grasp technical product requirements at a practical, operational level.
Systems Proficiency: Highly familiar with CRM systems, ERP platforms, advanced Excel, quotation workflows, and sales pipeline tracking methodologies.
Language & Travel: Professional fluency in written and spoken English. Must be fully willing and able to travel overseas independently for customer visitations, distributor development, trade exhibitions, and regional business reviews.
