Facilities Manager / Assistant Manager (Precision Machining)

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

We are representing our client a Machinery Parts Manufacturer, looking for Facilities Manager / Assistant Manager (Building facilities & preventive maintenance for production machines) to join their team based at Puchong. 

ADDITIONAL INFO 

• Working hours: Monday - Friday (8.30am - 6pm)
• Basic up to RM 8,000

JOB REPONSIBILITIES 

• To maintain electrical & mechanical system including equipment used at production.
• To ensure the infrastructure of the building is well maintain and in good condition
• Performs general, planned, emergency and preventive machine maintenance, routine maintenance, servicing operations and other as directed such as civil minor work
• To liaise with local authorities / contractor / architect or supplier on projects/modification/improvement activities.
• Overseeing and accountable for fulfilment of the implementation of all activities in the facility scope of works to achieve the quality objectives and key performance indicators.
• Oversee daily plant facility, utilities and related documents
• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Uses electrical test equipment, gauges and other measuring devices to test electrical equipment.
• Reviews historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing and preventive maintenance schedule.
• To ensure all documents are done and kept properly in compliance with ISO and to keep track of all records (Checklists, commissioning reports, and etc.)
• To update the Management on the progress and status.
• Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum a Diploma / Degree in Engineering. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building facilities maintenance AND preventive maintenance for production machines. 
• SPM holder with more than 10 years of relevant working experience in building safety, construction, machinery, electrical engineering industry are encouraged to apply.
• Able to work independently, be structured and systematic during work with cross-functional team. 
• Excellent inter-personal, good networking skills and self-motivated to deliver good results.
• Able to deliver comprehensive report and have good presentation skill. 
• Mature, Resourceful, Self Driven individual who possess good troubleshooting and problem-solving skill.
