Facility Senior Engineer - Professional Development Opportunities

Job Description

Position Objective:

• Plan, oversee and monitor Preventive maintenance of plant and facility equipment’s.

• Ensure that all necessary calibration and regulations governed by Laws of Malaysia are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical and instrumentation maintenance, installation and modification.

• Plan and supervise daily routine.

• Plant troubleshooting and electrical equipment.

• Electrical maintenance and operations.

• Wireman: Wiring works.

• Maintenance of factory machineries & equipment according Preventive Maintenance schedule.

• Carry out repairs & modification when necessary.

• Troubleshooting of machine and production equipment’s when necessary.

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports to the Senior Engineer/Manager.

• Prepare machine WI and SOP and quarterly random audit.

• Create and update drawing of the plant process.

• Source and storage of spare parts requirements.

• direct responsibility for a range of facility infrastructure needs – such as HVAC, electrical engineering, EHS, energy, maintenance and civil engineering.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma/Bachelor Degree/Master in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

• Minimum 2-4 years working experience in factory setting as similar role. 

• Possess PW4 or chargeman Certificate by SuruhanJaya Tenaga will be an advantage.

• Sound knowledge in building maintenance and facilities management.

• Required skill (s): Ms Excel, Ms Word, Ms Power Point.

Other Requirements:

• Willing to work 12 hours shift pattern.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• A team player with strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.

• Independent and dynamic in decision making.

• Possess hand-on experience in maintenance of machinery and equipment’s.

• The working location is at Bandar Industri Bernilai Tinggi Serendah, Selangor.
