Facility Technician, Healthcare Engineering Management

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment, ensuring that all systems are operating effectively. 

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment or systems to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment. 

• Monitor and record readings from various utility meters (e.g., electricity, water, gas) and report any discrepancies or unusual consumption patterns. 

• Respond to service requests and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as , ensuring timely completion. 

• Collaborate with contractors and external vendors to oversee maintenance, repairs, or installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. 

• Participate in preventive maintenance programs for equipment and building systems to extend the lifecycle of assets and reduce repair costs. 

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health regulations and that all work is performed safely and in accordance with company protocols. 

• Support energy conservation initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve building efficiency and reduce utility consumption. 

• Assist in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts  for maintenance and repair work. 

• Ensure that all maintenance records, work orders, and reports are completed accurately and on time. 

• Participate in regular training and development programs to stay updated on industry best practices and safety standards. 

• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors, including assisting in emergency repairs or participating in special projects.
