Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an F&B Attendant in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As an F&B Attendant, you'll play a crucial role in creating memorable moments and ensuring top-notch service in our establishment.

  • Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, relaying them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff
  • Serve meals and drinks to guests, ensuring order accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
  • Assist in setting up dining rooms or banquet halls for various events
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously
  • Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Operate and maintain point-of-sale systems efficiently
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Provide input on menu selections and customer preferences to help improve offerings

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage menus and basic culinary knowledge
  • Skill in cash handling and operating point-of-sale systems
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness and organization
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry serving trays
  • Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
