Field Engineer (Northern - Perai) - Growth-Minded Organization

Responsibilities:

• Perform 1st level field troubleshooting (corrective maintenance) on access layer LTE/5G network elements and services.
• Ensure fault restoration is within the SLA.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule frequency to enhance network stability, addressing intermittent and repeated faults.
• Execute and manage assigned WFM-IFS work orders within specified time frames, meeting SLA requirements.
• Ensure Apparatus Assignment (AA) compliance.
• Accountable for day-to-day execution, project acceptance, and documentation sign-off to uphold rollout implementation quality and meet customer demand.
• Required to be on standby for 24x7 duty roster.
• Generate required routine reports.

Requirements

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Diploma/Degree in Telecommunication Engineering/Computer or relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in field operation processes and tools management.
• Knowledge of field operation Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
• Certification: Working at height (WAH), CIDB, TM NIOSH Safety Passport (mandatory).
• Some level of knowledge in LTE/5G networks. Business & Human

 Competence:

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS-Office, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to provide support as needed.
