We are hiring Senior FSE and G-Element Overhaul Specialist to join our CTS team in Shah Alam. 

Mission:

• Take the lead on G element overhauling job applying known and proven methodologies and technique to keep element efficiency after overhaul job.

Job Description:

As G-Element overhaul specialist
- Take the lead on G compressor element overhauling work activities in service workshop.
- Assess the condition of the compressor element before starting any overhauling job. Photos must be taken with comments on element condition as found. The photos and comments will form part of the MAM report to be submitted to customer.
- Ensure that overhauling tools are in good condition at any given time. To raise purchase request to replace any defective one without delay.
- Take full responsibility and ownership of the overhauling tools including cleanliness and safe keeping.
- Ensure that all spare parts for overhauling work are in place and inspected for correctness before starting the job to ensure efficient work execution. 
- Do sandblasting as standard form of preparation of the compressor element for overhauling. Take a photo of the element housing and its rotors before assembly. These photos with comment will form part of the MAM report.
- Apply known and proven methodologies and techniques in the execution of overhauling job to ensure that compressor element efficiency is keep intact after the overhaul. 
- Ensure that newly overhauled compressor element is properly painted before delivery to customer site.
- Take responsibility for cleanliness and orderliness of the designated overhaul area and its premises.
- Inform the service planner and Ops team leader immediately after every completed overhaul job.
- Take the lead in element assessment and in training other CTS Ops staff
- In cases where compressor element is brought to the workshop for assessment, do complete assessment then prepare the list of required parts and the work scope. 
- To train, on proper overhauling work and its processes, the Cadet FSE assigned by either Service Ops Manager or CTS Ops BLM.
- On workshop housekeeping, consumables and workshop tools
- Observe cleanliness and orderliness in workshop area and in wash bay.
- Provide help in ensuring that all workshop tools and overhauling tools are properly kept in their respective cabinets. 
- Extend assistance in monitor workshop consumables and in initiating an order when needed to always ensure availability.
- Assist WIP owner to ensure that WIP parts are kept in their proper place. 

As senior Field Service Engineer
- To work closely with Service Operation team leader, extend help when needed.
- Job assignment priority is installation of newly overhauled GA elements and recommissioning of the unit.
- Execute field work activities as assigned by the planner
- On arrival at customer’s premise inform person-in-charge before any jobs are being carried out, to avoid interruptions in production or any other business interruptions.
- Ensure wearing PPE upon entering customer premises 
- Perform LMRA and generate TIA report when applicable, implement correct working methods, use correct service tools and observe all safety rules and regulations.
- Perform all instructions given in the scope of work as per service work order for preventative maintenance and repair works on Atlas Copco, Brand Portfolio compressors, dryers and ancillaries. Record in MAM all operating parameters (pressure & temperature) before & after maintenance works.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics works for Atlas Copco products within own scope of technical & service competence. RCA reports must be generated separately if root cause of the problem is not mentioned in MAM VR.
- Clean the machine after the job and maintain cleanliness in compressor room during and after job completion.
- Test run and monitor the unit, record all readings to ensure units are running at satisfactory conditions.
- Generate MAM report reflecting job done, parts replaced, machine status and recommended corrective actions aside from operating parameter data and spent hours.
- Explain to customer the content of MAM report that they have to sign. This form as proper machine handover after job completion. 
- Inform customer about NPS and that they will receive a survey. Encourage the customer provide feedback on FSE work performance by responding the survey.
- Generate service leads for other compressors/dryers inside the compressor room 
- Perform other jobs that maybe assigned by CTS planner or Ops team lead

Service support and commitment:
- Personally commit to 24/7 service program of CTS
- To strive for continuous knowledge development through virtual and face-to-face training arranged locally or abroad. 
- To attend various service certification training as organized by Service Academy or CTS Division to develop and acquire product and technical competencies of various Atlas Copco equipment 
- Provide support function to FSE and Technical team as and when required.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 5 years hands on working experience on compressed dry air equipment.
• Had performed actual G element overhauling work for at least 20 times within 2 years period.
• Good knowledge and experience in servicing Atlas Copco, Brand Portfolio compressors, dryers and ancillaries.

Knowledge:

• Computer literate and a self-starter with the ability to read technical manuals and prepare technical/ service reports in English
• Mechanical / electromechanical troubleshooting skills

Educational Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic discipline

Personality Requirements:

• Able to work in a team and is customer-oriented 
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a challenging and demanding environment 
• Able to write and communicate verbally in English
• Analytical and detail oriented
