Finance Executive

What You'll Do

Full Set of Accounts & Daily Operations

• Handle the full set of accounts including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and bank reconciliations
  
• Record daily transactions, process journal entries, issue invoices, and maintain accurate accounting records
  
• Process purchase orders and ensure proper documentation across all financial transactions
  

Month -End & Year -End Closing

• Oversee and ensure timely completion of monthly and year -end closing activities
  
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, management accounts, and supporting schedules
  

AR & AP Management

• Monitor accounts receivable, manage debtor aging reports, and follow up on outstanding collections
  
• Verify supplier invoices, process accounts payable, and ensure timely vendor payments
  

Compliance & Statutory Reporting

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations
  
• Assist in the preparation of tax computations and statutory reporting requirements
  
• Liaise with external parties including auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities
  

Budgeting & Financial Analysis

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to aid management decision -making
  

Process Improvement & Systems

• Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes
  
• Support ERP implementation, migration, or system enhancement initiatives where required
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams — Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations — to ensure smooth and aligned financial processes
  

Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field
  
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with full set of accounts exposure
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting systems or ERP software is an advantage
  
• Knowledge of project accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance is preferred
  
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required
  
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cross -functional teams
