Finance Executive - Energetic Workplace

What you must have

• Minimum 6 years of experience with a strong understanding of corporate accounting and at least 3 years of costing experience in the manufacturing industry
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or professional qualification recognized by MIA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Must be computer literate with Microsoft office, good in cost accounting. Experience with SAP B1 is an advantage

What will you do

• Calculate product costing for NPD. Collaborate with different stakeholders R&D, Production, Procurement and Sales personnel.
• Review and update standard costs in bill of material (BOM).
• Prepare latest costing estimates for midstream and downstream for management.
• Review production output, overheads and direct labour costing to ensure accuracy of product costing.
• Conduct COGS analysis and prepare commentaries for product cost variances.
• Assist in setting up item master, manufacturing costing and stock valuation method in accordance with accounting policies.
• Assist and support costing manager on product costing relating matters and cost savings initiatives.
• Perform month end closing task for inventory management. Aging reporting, inventory balance trend, Inventory DIOH calculation, update inventory item master, obsolescence provisions, COGS adjustments, inventory revaluation, raw materials purchases analysis, production wastages analysis, etc.
• Assist in product profitability margins analysis, cost center spending and preparation of month end presentation deck for management. 
• Coordinate and join physical stock count, prepare monthly inventory reconciliation and investigate of cycle counting variances, follow up with stock variances explanation and resolve issues with process owners.
• Inventory management. Investigate inventory cost and production order issues, perform stock adjustments and write offs. Support production and warehouse team on SAP related issues.
• Assist with yearly budget preparation on departmental spend and product costing. 
• Manage inventory SAP system updates and assist with SAP enhancements projects and UAT testing.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit on costing and inventory matters.
