Penerangan Pekerjaan - Finance & HR Manager

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Finance & Accounting Division is recruiting on behalf of a leading Singapore entertainment company. Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Finance & HR Manager, with more than 3 years of relevant experience in finance and human resources operations. The job is based in KL.

Job Summary
The winning candidate will oversee all financial and human resources operations in Malaysia. Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, as well as managing recruitment, employee relations,
and performance management. This role requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to provide strategic insights to support business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce financial reports related to budgets, account payable, account receivable, expenses, etc.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agents.
  • Look into strengthening current internal control and process improvement.
  • Responsible for the full spectrum of Finance/Accounting functions and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance team.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow/quarterly rolling-forecast/annual budget.
  • Implement finance policies and procedures and ensure that they are being consistently followed - including customer and supplier contracts, purchase orders, credit control, and ensure timely invoicing.
  • Provide financial advice to the Management team.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.
  • Handle full spectrum of HR function including payroll process.
  • Administer the recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening.
  • Administer the onboarding process to ensure new employees have a smooth transition into the company and oversee the offboarding process to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures for departing staff.
  • Create, maintain, and update all leave records.
  • Establish and constantly review HR policies to ensure policies comply with regulations.
  • Handle administrative duties.
  • Undertake & execute any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, HR Management or a related field.
  • Professional qualification like ACCA, CPA & etc will be an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification in HRM or related field is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Experienced in liaison with external auditors and management of an annual audit process.
  • Good communication skills and able to interact well across departments and management team.
  • Able to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous, focused and a good team player with a high level of enthusiasm, drive, initiative, and commitment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Xero Accounting System.
