Finance Manager

Position Overview:

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. You will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of the company and ensuring its long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth and profitability goals
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations to senior management
• Manage the company's cash flow, including forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring of expenses and revenues
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities
• Lead the financial planning and analysis process, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making
• Monitor and manage the company's investments and assets
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing financial support and guidance as needed
• Mentor and develop the finance team, providing training and support to ensure their professional growth and development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Experience in the construction or property development industry is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
