Finance Manager

We are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to oversee the full book and prepare management accounts for our US distribution business. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and financial reporting, and will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager. The position requires working on night shift with flexibility in the location of work.

Responsibilities:

• Review and manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts and reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and Group policies.
• Oversee and reconcile intercompany accounts, promptly addressing discrepancies.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes to meet reporting timelines.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure data accuracy and consolidation activities during closing.
• Monitor compliance with evolving accounting regulations and Group accounting policies.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives focused on process enhancement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent highly preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or a listed company is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, particularly IFRS and US GAAP.
• Experienced in financial and management reporting and group consolidation.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Jedox or JD Edwads) and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including auditors and senior management.
• Proficiency in English is a must; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, and non-hierarchical organizational culture.
• Ability to work under the US eastern standard time zone.
