Job Description: Finance Manager Company Overview: We are a fast-growing company committed to delivering high-quality products and services. We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. Job Summary: As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. Proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks, as well as knowledge of Malaysian taxation, various IFRS and IAS standards, and experience in system implementation are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's overall financial operations including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Utilize NetSuite and QuickBooks for financial record keeping and accounting tasks, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee daily financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare and review financial statements to provide transparency on the company's financial status.
• Manage cash flow, optimize the use of funds, and ensure the financial health of the company.
• Handle and ensure compliance with all tax-related matters, particularly Malaysian tax regulations.
• Maintain good relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Support management in financial decision-making by providing robust financial analysis and recommendations.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and IAS standards, including but not limited to:
  • IFRS 9 : Classification and measurement of financial instruments, including virtual currencies and customer deposits.
  • IFRS 15 : Revenue recognition, including transaction fees, platform usage fees, etc.
  • IFRS 13 : Fair value measurement of virtual currencies based on market value.
  • IAS 2 : Inventory accounting for virtual currencies held as inventory assets.
  • IFRS 16 : Accounting for leased office spaces or equipment.
  • IFRS 7 : Disclosure of financial instrument risks and management methods.
  • IAS 36 : Impairment testing and handling for virtual currencies or related assets.
  • IAS 38 : Accounting for virtual currencies classified as intangible assets.
  • IAS 10 : Disclosure and handling of post-balance sheet events related to virtual currency price fluctuations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA, MIA) are preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a diverse corporate environment.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks with practical experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian taxation laws and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and IAS standards relevant to virtual currency transactions and financial instruments.
• Proven experience in the implementation and optimization of financial systems.
• Excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills, capable of working under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team.
• Attention to detail with a high level of responsibility and professional ethics.
