Finance Manager - Collaborative Environment

Duties

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) and provide insightful analysis to management.
• Monitor daily financial activities, including accounts payable & receivable, general ledger & reconciliation.
• Checking, verify & approve supporting documents/invoices for bank payments.
• Assist in the preparations of the annual budget and periodic forecast exercise. 
• Perform Monthly Variance Analysis, explaining fluctuation against prior period / budget.
• Responsible in tax estimation for all the related companies in order to comply with the statutory body's requirement.
• Develop and implement strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity. 
• Establish, maintain and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Liaising with auditors, tax agents, banks and other statutory bodies / authorities on external audit matters, and all statutory and tax requirements compliance.
• Undertake other projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Candidates with minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably 2-3 years of with prior audit experience will be an added advantage.
• High command of MS Applications especially Excel.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A person with high initiative, drive and commitment and can work independently.
