- Managing Accounts Department over the full spectrum of accounting, finance and credit control functions;
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly management reporting, analysis and financial statements for consolidation including review and verification of journal entries, reconciliation of general ledgers and subsidiary accounts as well as Balance Sheet and Income Statements balances. To ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards and group’s policies and meet reporting deadline;
- Preparation of tax computation and ensure appropriate provision, estimates and tax submission;
- Preparation of budgets and cash flow projection for business planning;
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and relevant authorities on related issues;
- To liaise with internal auditors on accounting and internal control matters;
- To assist to develop and monitor internal control procedures and highlight on weaknesses for improvement;
- To analyze monthly inventory report, assist and involve in inventory control and stock take activity;
- Supervise, guide and provide training to subordinates on accounting related matters;
- To update and monitor on legal cases; and
- Any other duties and responsibilities which will be assigned from time to time.
