Finance Manager - Hiring Fast

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Department in overseeing the financial operations of the group of companies. This includes managing accounting activities, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirement.

Responsibilities 

• To develop and refine financial strategies and plans in alignment with the Company’s long-term goals.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to forecast potential financial positions and budget effectiveness, identifying areas for potential improvement.
• Oversee the preparation of comprehensive monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and period forecasts, working closely with department/subsidiary heads to ensure budgets are accurate and reflective of operation’s needs.
• Monitor expenditure, identify variances between actual and budgeted figures, and implement corrective actions to manage and reduce costs.
• Manage the Company’s cash flow projections and ensure sufficient liquidity to fund operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and financial regulations and develop and oversee internal controls to minimize financial risk.
• Perform financial analysis for capital investment, pricing decisions and contract negotiations.
• Lead, monitor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders including banks, auditors and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA/CIMA).
• Experience in handling full sets of accounts, consolidation and tax matters
• Well verse in Microsoft Office and other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting standard (MFRS and MPERS)
• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• At least 10 years working experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in managerial level or a position in similar capacity.
• Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sharp analytical thinking and details-oriented.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadline.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and developing a team.
