- Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly management reports and ensure that production costing perform accurately with batch order close on timely basis.
- Investigate & coordinate reconciliation variances and resolve issues with process owners.
- Report on Inventory cost, ageing, variances and etc for management action.
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations and to ensure the smooth operation of Finance Dept.
- Ensure an effective asset management and inventory control are in placed at all times.
- Responsible for the Cash Flow Management, Credit Control management with closely contact with Corporate Finance, Group treasury and Group Credit Control.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and other regulatory requirements including accounting, tax, legal and secretarial duties.
- Ensure the organisation practices comply with the company's policy and procedures and meet relevant regulatory requirements.
- Responsible and work closely with Company’s General Manager for the monthly forecast updates and annual budget preparation as well as reviewing and analyzing financial data and performances.
- Train and coaching of subordinates.
- Set KPI and conduct performance appraisals on subordinates.
- Take lead roles in ensuring the smooth & effective operation the company’s ERP system and that all reports generated are accurate & in accordance to financial report.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to the team in order for them to discharge their roles and responsibilities fully, timely and effectively.
- Liaise with tax agents, auditors, bankers and regulatory authorities.
- Take lead roles in ensuring the smooth & effective operation the company’s ERP system and that all reports generated are accurate & in accordance to financial report.
- Any other duties or tasks as assigned by superior.
Requirement
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Professional qualification in accounting, i.e. CPA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years relevant working experiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong business sense and managerial skills.
- Proficient in the requirement of MFRS and costing methods
- Effective writing, supervision and organization skills
- Efficient in planning and execution of assignment to meet deadline
- Ability to lead and work independently and committed to delivery on time
- Working experiences in manufacturing outfit preferably fast moving products.
- Working experiences in integrated real-time ERP systems a must.
- Hands on experiences and knowledge in short term financing, import & export documentations, custom procedures, indirect taxes (VAT/GST, SST), an added advantage.
