Finance Operations Analyst - Exciting Challenge

WHAT IS YOUR MISSION?

• As a Finance Operations Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations while contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
• Supporting the various business partners within Juris and its associate companies to deliver Juris’ growth strategy by ensuring processes, revenue generators and cost structures are carefully budgeted, planned, and monitored efficiently.
• Supporting our Director of Business Services and C-Suite Management team in decision making and in implementation of new policies and structures in line with GECO values (Growing Heroes, Making Excellence Happen, Customer First and Opening Up) and financial targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group policies and reporting requirements.
• Financial Analysis: Work closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to analyze project financial performance, including costing, profit margins, and leakages. Collaborate with C-Suite management on mitigation strategies.
• Financial Insights: Provide valuable financial insights to project and product managers, supporting the development of solutions tailored to JurisTech's strengths in enterprise-class software solutions.
• Finance Operations Oversight: Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including General Ledger, Account Payable & Account Receivables functions.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls. Identify opportunities for cost savings and tax optimization.
• Compliance Management: Maintain proper accounting policies and internal control procedures. Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and statutory requirements by liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary.
• Audit Coordination: Assist in the preparation and coordination of the audit process, compiling supporting documents and ensuring timely submission.
• Special Projects: Coordinate and deliver special projects proposed by the C-Suite management team for JurisTech and iMoney Group of Companies.
• Leadership Development: Coach and mentor junior finance team members, organizing tasks to support their personal development and optimize resources within the finance team.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Champion the company's financial and business interests by providing advisory and guidance support across departments.
• Ad-hoc Duties: Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support the finance team and company objectives.
