About the Role
The Financial Analyst played a key role in KL BSO OTC Account Receivable team operation, the key role of an employee who works as an Accounts Receivable is to ensure their company receives payments for goods and services and records these transactions accordingly. An Accounts Receivable job description will includesecuring revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving any discrepancies. He / She is responsible and supports all financial aspects and is driving quality and execution within business unit and ensures SLA & Business KPIs are met.
What you'll Do
Responsible for the functions of Accounts Receivable – invoice/credit note, miscellaneous receipting, aging review
Process request accordance to Company Policy & Service Level Agreement
Timely response by providing solutions to internal customer queries
Complete the monthly closing activities in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
Prepare monthly KPI, AR bank reconciliation reports and process improvement
Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, SSC processes and procedures
Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities which the superior may assign from time to time
What you'll Need
Preferably possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/ Accounting/ Finance or related area
Min 1-2 years working experience in the AR especially cash application/collection
Organized, Tactful, Dependable, Analytical & Meticulous
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
A team player and able to promote teamwork among the team
Computer literate, preferably with Excel spreadsheet knowledge
