Our client is a well known player in the services industry and is currently seeking for highly talented individual with a strategic mindset to help drive the business controllership function.

Job Description

1. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
   • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant regulatory requirements.
   • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any findings or recommendations.
2. Controllership Functions:
   • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial close activities.
   • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity of financial transactions.
3. Transformation Initiatives:
   • Lead cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to streamline financial processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
   • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to implement new systems, tools, and technologies to support business transformation efforts.
4. Financial Analysis and Decision Support:
   • Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.
   • Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.
5. Change Management:
   • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and change readiness within the finance organization and across the broader company.
   • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to build consensus, drive alignment, and ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, controllership, or related roles, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and transformational change.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and internal control frameworks.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
