Financial Engineer

Scope of Activity

• Limited to structuring support only
• No execution authority
• No client-facing activities (no chat, meetings, etc.)
• Internal RBC collaboration only
• Involvement in the pricing process

Core Competencies

• Solid understanding of derivatives and options markets, including pricing, risk management, and ability to structure basic option products
• Deep knowledge of at least one market segment: Structured Rates, FX, Commodities, Credit, Equity, or Quantitative Investment Strategies
• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments

Technical Profile

• Programming experience in Python, C++, Java, or equivalent languages, in addition to VBA
• Understanding of basic pricing models and quantitative methodologies
• Proficiency with automation tools, including AI-enabled solutions
• Experience designing and implementing automation solutions, APIs, and databases
• Demonstrated ability to conduct back-testing and generate performance reports
