Please note that this position being hired will be deployed and based in overseas eg Bangkok, Thailand.
Finance & Accounting:
- Perform monthly account closing, including journal entries, postings, and accruals.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and participate in monthly finance meetings.
- Ensure timely submission of all taxation and VAT requirements.
- Assist in annual tax planning and submission.
- Support in cash flow management, balance control, and inter-company loan management.
- Review, track, and reconcile Related Party Transactions (RPT) and intercompany balances monthly.
- Identify and evaluate cost-reduction opportunities.
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Reconcile the trial balance, balance sheet, and profit and loss statements.
- Oversee fixed asset management and monitoring.
- Manage petty cash disbursements.
- Coordinate overseas payments and inter-company transfers.
- Verify payment vouchers, receipts, invoices, purchase orders, reconciliations, and withholding tax certificates.
Leadership:
- Monitor, coach, support, and provide guidance to the finance team in daily operational activities.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations for team members.
Cooperation with Other Departments:
- Coordinates with external auditors and tax agents during annual audits and company tax computations.
- Interface with revenue department staff regarding annual tax refunds.
- Support other ad-hoc requests from Management and HOD.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning, accounting, and taxation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Must be able to deploy and work base overseas eg Bangkok, Thailand
