Financial Planning & Analysis, Senior Specialist - Innovative Company

Responsibilities 

Finance Business Partnering

• Provide strategic financial support to Business Units, delivering timely and effective financial analysis, insights, and recommendations.

Financial Planning, Forecasting and Budgeting

• Prepare the monthly/quarterly forecasting and annual budget, reviewing financial assumptions and highlighting risks/issues.
• Collaborate with Business Units to ensure alignment with strategic goals and financial targets.

Financial Performance Analysis

• Ensure timely and accurate closing of finance and accounting activities, providing in-depth analysis of financial performance.
• Provide variance explanations of actual vs budget/forecast, reporting key findings to the business on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Data Analysis and Monitoring

• Prepare and analyze financial data including costing, sales, gross profit, opex, etc.
• Monitor operating results including Sales, GP, OPEX, Operating Income, CAPEX, and Working Capital.
• Compilation and maintenance of Business Units order books and pipelines.

Financial Reporting and Presentation

• Assist in month-end closing by providing financial analysis to the management team.
• Prepare management financial decks monthly, regional management performance decks monthly, and board decks quarterly.

Collaboration and Standardization

• Work closely with the Head of Finance, Finance team, and Business Units to prepare monthly/quarterly forecasts and align financial strategies.
• Liaise with the Regional FP&A team to standardize reporting processes and ensure accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA with a minimum of 4-6 years relevant working experience.
• With a minimum 3 years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience preferred.
• Meticulous and good analytical skill.
• Good communication with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Can handle ambiguity independently and deliver within a strict timeline in a fast-paced environment.
• Persistence and problem-solving skills.
• Competent in PC applications e.g. Microsoft Office. 
• Knowledge of SunSystem will be an advantage.
