We are in search of a proactive Food Safety cum Trainer Executive to join our dynamic team at SEN KEE FOOD TRADING SDN. BHD. in Puchong, Selangor.

A) Food safety:

1.Conduct Audits:

  • Perform on-site inspections and audits outlets, warehouses and manufacturing to evaluate compliance with food safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Identify deficiencies, non-conformities, and areas of improvement in food safety systems and practices during audits. This involves identifying potential risks to food safety, such as cross-contamination, improper storage, inadequate sanitation, or failure to meet labeling requirements
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions to address identified non-conformities and deficiencies. This may involve suggesting changes to processes, procedures, equipment, or employee training programs to enhance food safety and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations. These reports are typically submitted to management and regulatory authorities for review.
  • Conduct follow-up audits to verify the implementation of corrective actions and ensure that identified issues have been adequately addressed.

2.Review Documentation: Examine documentation related to food safety practices, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), sanitation protocols, and quality control records.

3.Stay Current with Regulations: Stay abreast of changes in food safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure audits remain current and effective.

4.Provide Training and Support: Offer training and support to employee personnel on food safety principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices to improve compliance and promote a culture of food safety within organizations.

5.Communicate with Stakeholders: Interact with various stakeholders, including management, employees, regulatory agencies, and customers, to communicate audit findings, address concerns, and promote continuous improvement in food safety practices.

B) F&B Trainer:

  • Training Needs Analysis: Assessing the training needs of individuals, teams, or departments within the organization through methods such as audits, surveys, interviews, complaints and performance evaluations.
  • Content Development: Designing and developing training programs, courses, and materials that align with organizational objectives, learning objectives, and staff needs. This may involve creating presentations, manuals, handouts, and multimedia content.
  • Facilitation: Delivering training sessions, workshops, seminars, or presentations to employees, utilizing various instructional techniques and formats to engage learners effectively. Trainers may conduct in-person sessions, virtual training, or a combination of both. Utilizing a variety of teaching methods and technologies to deliver training content effectively, such as lectures, group discussions, role-playing exercises, simulations, e-learning platforms, and virtual classrooms
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Administering assessments, quizzes, or exams to measure learner progress and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Analyzing training evaluation data to identify areas for improvement and make adjustments to future training initiatives.
  • Individual Coaching and Support: Providing individualized coaching, feedback, and support to learners to help them master new skills, overcome challenges, and achieve performance goals.
  • Maintaining Training Records: Keeping accurate records of training activities, attendance, evaluations, and certifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other trainers to coordinate training initiatives, share resources, and align training efforts with organizational goals. Communicating effectively with participants, managers, and other stakeholders to promote understanding and support for training initiatives.

Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Food Science & Technology or equivalent.
  • Certified ISO22000/HACCP Lead Auditor and Food Handler Trainer will be additional advantage
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in auditing (food and beverages industry) or any related field is required for this position.
  • Own a valid driving license and transport and willing to travel within Malaysia (outlet by outlet) extensively.
  • Highly discipline and self-independent.
  • Able to work under pressures.
  • Good management and problem solving skill
