Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Web relevant duties in line with company objectives including determining the structure and design of web pages.
• Developing and conceptualising comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand or collaborate with other UI/UX Designers to meet the demanding requirements of the business.
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design, developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Working with the Head of Department or Project Lead to establish appropriate project directions.
• Collaborating with the Web Development team, internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
• Delivering work of the highest quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• Building reusable code for future use and staying abreast of new media formats and learning how to incorporate them into projects.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Web Development services.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and integration of API’s (SOAP, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, REST etc).
• Significant experience with popular frameworks and libraries such as React and Redux.
• Bonus skills such as Node.js and Express, MongoDB as well as more traditional technologies like PHP, ASP.NET, and MySQL.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Understanding of SEO principles.
• A team player but can work independently too.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Good problem solving, multi-tasking, time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
