GBS Digital Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Digital Developer to join our growing data and digital delivery team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering end\u2011to\u2011end data engineering solutions on the Azure platform, with strong expertise in Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Power BI.\n\nThe ideal candidate has hands\u2011on experience delivering production\u2011grade, scalable data solutions, works closely with business stakeholders, and takes ownership from data ingestion to analytics and reporting.\n\nQualifications and Requirements\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields\n * Excellent communication, verbal and written skills\n * Certifications in azure data engineering \u0026 data analytics are preferred\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Design, develop, and maintain end\u2011to\u2011end data engineering solutions on Azure\n * Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure-native services such as:\n * Azure Data Factory / Synapse Pipelines\n * Azure Synapse Analytics\n * Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2)\n * Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing)\n\n\n * Implement data modelling and transformation logic to support analytical and reporting needs\n * Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports for business and leadership consumption\n * Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and security across the data platform\n * Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions\n * Support CI/CD, DevOps, and automation practices for data pipelines and reporting assets\n * Perform code reviews, technical guidance, and mentoring for junior engineers\n * Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline, performance, and production issues\n * Contribute to architecture decisions, best practices, and standards for Azure data platforms\n\n\n\nRequired Skills \u0026 Experience\n\n * 5+ years of experience in data engineering / data platform development\n * Strong hands\u2011on experience with Azure Data Engineering stack, including:\n * Azure Synapse Analytics\n * Azure Data Factory\n * Azure Data Lake Storage\n * Microsoft Fabric\n * Strong experience in Power BI:\n * Data modelling (Star/Snowflake schema)\n * DAX\n * Performance optimization\n * Proficiency in SQL and experience with large\u2011scale datasets\n * Experience implementing end\u2011to\u2011end data solutions (ingestion \u2192 transformation \u2192 analytics \u2192 reporting)\n * Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT patterns, and analytical modelling\n * Experience with source control, CI/CD, and DevOps practices for data solutions\n * Familiarity with security, access control, and governance in Azure environments\n\n\n
