General Manager, Business Development

Our
client is a global multinational logistics company, bring logistics solutions
to help their customers build a resilient supply chain.

Identify new business opportunities
through developing new and existing customers’ accounts and building relationships
and provide strategic direction for the company to grow and profit.

Responsibilities:

• Identify Business

• Develop Proposals
  and Presentations
  
• Support Key
  Account Management and Operations Planning
  
• Responsible for
  the development and revision of business development strategies in line with
  the market trends, competitors and customers' requirements
  
• To build the
  Company’s reputation and competitive position through marketing channels,
  public relations, activities, business events, forums and others
  
• Prepare the
  yearly and half-yearly Business Development Budget, review the progress of
  revenue for the logistics operations
  
• Streamline and
  enforce CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Tool usage compliance by Group
  & branches, business development functions to ensure visibility of BD
  activities.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain
  Management and Marketing, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in 3PL Logistics,
  Supply Chain Management or FMCG industry.
  
• Excellent track records in a hunter role, in securing
  and developing key customers accounts and hit the budgeted number
  
• High-level of customer service ability
  
• Strong in networking contacts and industry people
  
• Excellent
  planning, problem-solving, collaboration, decision-making, and organization
  skills.
  
• Able to
  champion new initiatives, change management and building teams
  
• Excellent
  interpersonal skills including communication, presentation, diplomacy and
  patience.
  
• Demonstrated
  experience in financial planning and analysis
  
• Strong drive
  and self-initiated
