We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented General Manager, Business Operations to lead our Sabah stores towards sustainable growth and profitability. You will oversee all aspects of business operations, develop strategic plans, and foster strong stakeholder relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Growth:

• Develop comprehensive business plans for the Sabah stores, ensuring strategic alignment and growth. 
• Identify and implement innovative strategies for business development, value-added services, and differentiation. 
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and identify opportunities for cost savings and energy efficiency. 

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee all aspects of store management, including leasing, operations, and financial management. 
• Oversee the buying and supply chain process to ensure the buying department can maintain sufficient and healthy stock levels for smooth operations.
• Implement and maintain quality management processes to ensure customer satisfaction. 
• Develop and oversee effective logistics and inventory management systems. 
• Manage budgets, analyse costs, profit and lost (P&L) and generate financial reports.

Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Master's degree or MBA is an advantage. 
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the retail industry, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial position. 
• Strong understanding of retail operations, business development, supply chain management, and financial management. 
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on results, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability in problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management, positive attitude, and self-motivated mindset
