General manager - construction

Score EPCC is a Bintulu-based engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and turnkey project management company. We are a CIDB Grade 7 company with over 1100 strong workforce specializes in engineering and construction of industrial plants, Score EPCC provides comprehensive services from initial concept to final commissioning.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our growing construction, maintenance, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) team. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Description:

• Reporting to Chief Operation Officer, COO . 
• Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Oversee project management , ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the entire construction, maintenance and QA/QC operations.
• Manage client relationships , fostering strong communication and exceeding client expectations.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of construction crews, maintenance personnel and QA/QC team.
• Implement and maintain effective quality control programs to ensure adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
• Develop and manage budgets for all projects , optimizing costs and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies , identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Represent the company at industry events and build strong relationships with key partners.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior management role within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of QA/QC principles and practices in construction.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management software and construction estimating software.
