Penerangan Pekerjaan - General Manager (Marketing)

Job Description
  • Implement comprehensive marketing strategies that aligned with the company’s market positioning and overall business objectives.
  • Lead yearly price increases and collaborate with senior management and develop yearly and monthly sales targets, performance indicators such as category performance, basket size,  inventory turnover, out-of-stocks.
  • Monitor sales review weekly and monthly and adjust strategies of promotions to meet projected sales goals.
  • Organise an Annual Regional New Product Development meeting to ensure a consistent product strategy with overseas counterparts.
  • Participate in key business meetings that includes with internal / external auditors and bankers, potential business partners, etc.
  • Based on performance metrics, review membership campaign mechanics and adjust future strategies.
  • Establish a collaborative and innovative work environment by leading and motivating a team of marketing professionals and provide guidance.
  • Evaluate new product launches and discuss costing considerations by conducting monthly reviews with product development heads.
  • Present and gain approval for new product launches by hosting bi-monthly meetings with senior management.
  • Provide recommendations and insights to product development team such as addressing high inventory issues, promotion discussion, clearance strategies, pricing adjustments, test and control group segmentation and result reporting, analyses and recommendations.
  • Identify new product opportunities and adjust the product roadmap accordingly by monitor market and competitor trends.
  • Optimise inventory by review project sales and forecasts during monthly purchase order meetings.
  • Create annual promotional calendar including contests and giveaways, promotions, to drive sales and brand engagement.
  • Conduct reviews of sales performance weekly and monthly to analyse key performance indicator.
  • Oversee monthly campaign planning and execution aligns with overall marketing goals across various channels such as traditional (offline), digital (online) and direct sales.
  • Analyse and review regularly the effectiveness of past promotion to gain insights for future campaigns.
  • Expand brand reach and customer acquisition by collaborating with potential business partners and lead the discussion.
  • Ensuring consistency with marketing objectives by monthly review and approve promo planning for newsletters.
  • Maintain brand integrity by approve monthly key visuals for marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize digital marketing channels for online presence and engagement, such as social media, email marketing, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
  • Ensure cohesive communication and impactful online presence by monthly review and approval of digital marketing calendar.
  • Effective across channels, analysing engagement rates, click-through rates (CTR), traffic, impressions, cost per click (CPC), other key performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities in the market that can be exploited ad worked on by directing audience/consumer research.
  • Maximise marketing ROI for future campaign strategies by track and measure the performance of all digital marketing channels and propose optimization initiatives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or any related field, preferably MBA.
  • Experience in marketing leadership roles with at least 10 years of marketing experience and at least 5 years of marketing leadership experience, preferably in direct sales, retail, and/or consumer products.
  • Proven track record in digital marketing, brand building, product development and customer segmentation.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills, with proven success in campaign execution.
  • Expertise in data analysis and marketing software/tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in leading a high-performance team.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical with a passion for driving results.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form in English. Mandarin would be advantageous.
