Penerangan Pekerjaan - General Manager - Marketing Data Analytics, APAC

We are looking for an experience and result-driven General Manager, Marketing Data Analytics to join our team. You will be responsible for creating a well-designed marketing analytics strategy with the goal to make smarter and more informed marketing decisions, improve overall marketing performance & strategy that enable marketing to influence sales.

As a Marketing data analytic leader, you will be responsible for tracking, analyzing data, measure ROI related to marketing data, campaigns and customers behavior in order to provide insights, determine best practices and make recommendations for improving marketing strategies. You will work closely with the business and marketing teams, particularly marketing leadership, to ensure the best use of budget and identify how to best target the audiences.

This is a newly created role, and this position will be an individual working with the business, global, marketing hub, in-country marketers as a start which will evolve into a team as we attain stability. In this role, you will report to the Executive Director of Marketing, APAC and you will work closely with marketing, business partners, stakeholder to achieve the business objective and deliverables.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Developing a well-designed marketing analytics strategy with the goal to make smarter and more informed marketing decisions for APAC and across all countries
  • Improve overall marketing performance & strategy that enable marketing to influence sales.
  • Provides actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions.
  • Analyzing data and understanding customer behavior to develop new marketing campaigns or adjust current campaigns to improve customer engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, branding and client acquisition
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations that help businesses stay competitive and achieve their marketing goals.
  • Identify target audiences, gathering web analytics and preparing scenarios about the potential success of a marketing campaign and its impact on sales.
  • Working closely with marketing teams and other stakeholders to ensure that marketing strategies drive revenue and growth and are aligned with business goals.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams, particularly leadership, to ensure the best use of budget and identify how to best target user groups
  • Measuring, analyzing, and reporting on marketing efforts to maximize their effectiveness, optimize return on investment (ROI), and drive better results in the future.
  • Assist the in-country marketers to understand the marketing potentials or challenges with the data to re-strategize, review/revamp marketing plan so as to achieve the desired marketing outcome
  • Using digital marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, web traffic, revenue growth and create an invaluable customer experience.
  • Advises marketing functions (website, platform, online/offline advertising, brand, product development etc) as the knowledge owner for customer and market data.
  • Evaluates customers’ online behavior and provide insights and recommendations for further enhancements to the guest experience.
  • Brainstorms new and creative marketing strategies through the data marketing data
  • Working with the business and marketing to identify the target audience and assist the creation of campaigns to inform, engage and motivate them towards specific goals.
  • Working with the marketing team to build and execute marketing strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Assist the marketing team to adjust marketing campaigns to ensure the most desired digital marketing tactics are adopted and expected outcome delivered, whether that is to drive customer sales, partners acquisition or increase brand awareness.
  • Analysing digital metrics to identify and review trends and insights and using the data to optimise performance.
  • Analyzes external and internal customer data using database queries (SQL, Access), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (Adobe / Omniture), statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools.
  • Define most important KPIs to track and measure and different KPIs for different channels
  • Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the online marketing trends, technologies in digital marketing, latest industry trends, business and customer challenges in order to continue to evolve

Skills and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • Minimum 15 years of proven working experience in marketing, particularly within the industry, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership position
  • A clear understanding of the B2B digital marketing journey
  • IT industry, channel and/or tech market knowledge, preferred
  • Extensive expertise in the elements of digital marketing
  • Advanced knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and understand the customer journey, sales funnels, and marketing strategies
  • Experience in Channel Marketing & Demand Generation, including strategizing campaigns, check on data build, leads & conversion.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Strong organizational, excellent consulting, communicating and presentation
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
  • Data driven, excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen
  • Mastery of the following analytical tools: modeling and reporting in Excel/Access and SQL
  • Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools such as Adobe, Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, social media analytics and more
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics (Omniture SiteCatalyst), Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, or similar web analytics, web optimization, or data management platforms
  • Broad hands on experience across paid channels (PPC, programmatic), organic media, website management (incl CRO) and marketing automation (Marketing & SFDC a plus).
  • Team Player, build strong working relationships with cross-department teams, and collaborate to accomplish shared goals
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
