RESPONSIBILITY:
- Develop strategy and lead the Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling and Logistics components of the Company’s Business.
- Understand, define, development & implementation Logistics processes with a focus on rail, road and sea routes.
- Establish policies and standard work procedures in delivery and customer service.
- Monitor conformance of practices against company policies and standard work procedures.
- Familiar in Freight Forwarding operation and Customs requirements.
- Manage logistics contracts, ensure quality delivery performance with cost consciousness and provide input and support within contract negotiations.
- Communicate across all internal and external business partners to identify the most efficient processes and procedures across the organization and optimize cross – departmental interaction regarding logistics activities.
- Work with external vendors to establish Supply Chain solutions and partnerships including service levels agreements.
- Evaluate logistics related opportunities, create and implement solutions to measure performance.
- Solve problems by considering courses of action within the framework of management goals and standards.
- Coordinate cross – functional teams, seeking field feedback, and tracking results.
- Align with Managements budget and service goals.
- Conduct meetings to ensure that team goals and projects are achieved according to established guidelines.
- Lead, direct and ensure that the staff executes on delivering consistent high-quality level service and customer satisfaction and achieves a profitable, cost efficient operations in compliance with company policies and procedures, ISO Standards and other regulatory guidelines.
- Determine staffing requirements and ensure that office positions are filled promptly
- Assist in employee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities.
