GENERAL MANAGER - OPERATIONS - Start Immediately

RESPONSIBILITY: 

1. Develop strategy and lead the Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling and Logistics components of the Company’s Business. 
2. Understand, define, development & implementation Logistics processes with a focus on rail, road and sea routes. 
3. Establish policies and standard work procedures in delivery and customer service. 
4. Monitor conformance of practices against company policies and standard work procedures. 
5. Familiar in Freight Forwarding operation and Customs requirements.
6. Manage logistics contracts, ensure quality delivery performance with cost consciousness and provide input and support within contract negotiations. 
7. Communicate across all internal and external business partners to identify the most efficient processes and procedures across the organization and optimize cross – departmental interaction regarding logistics activities. 
8. Work with external vendors to establish Supply Chain solutions and partnerships including service levels agreements. 
9. Evaluate logistics related opportunities, create and implement solutions to measure performance. 
10. Solve problems by considering courses of action within the framework of management goals and standards. 
11. Coordinate cross – functional teams, seeking field feedback, and tracking results. 
12. Align with Managements budget and service goals. 
13. Conduct meetings to ensure that team goals and projects are achieved according to established guidelines. 
14. Lead, direct and ensure that the staff executes on delivering consistent high-quality level service and customer satisfaction and achieves a profitable, cost efficient operations in compliance with company policies and procedures, ISO Standards and other regulatory guidelines. 
15. Determine staffing requirements and ensure that office positions are filled promptly 
16. Assist in employee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities.
