JOB SUMMARY

General Manager, Property Development & Infrastructure typically involves overseeing and managing various aspects of property development and infrastructure projects within an organization or company.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (ADHOC) 

Include problem-solving to address challenges during projects, managing teams effectively, and fostering continuous improvement. They stay informed about market trends, assess risks, and ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements. Additionally, they communicate project updates, manage budgets, and engage with stakeholders and communities. Their role involves adapting to unforeseen circumstances, promoting innovation, and ensuring project success while upholding standards of integrity and corporate social responsibility.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Ensuring the construction projects are executed as planned.
2. Finding new business opportunities for the company.
3. Ensuring the project costs are within the approved GDC and cash flow.
4. Ensuring the quality of the work complies with the project and that there are no safety or environmental issues during the project’s implementation.
5. Ensure the implementation of CSR programs at the project level while ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures for tasks such as the tender process and the appointment of contractors.
6. Monitoring the project's progress based on the approved Work Program.
7. Monitoring project cash flow based on the approved budget and ensuring the implementation of ePMS (electronic Project Management System) across all projects.
8. Provide training programs to employees. 
9. Involvement in company events and activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree / Master's in a relevant field such as civil engineering, construction management, architecture, real estate development, or business administration is often required with more than 20 years of experience.
2. Strong leadership skills to manage teams and drive results.
3. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and permitting processes related to property development and infrastructure projects.
4. Strategic thinking skills to identify market opportunities, assess project feasibility, and develop long-term plans for property development and infrastructure initiatives.
