General Worker

Job Description – General Worker - Jord Malaysia

Reports to:          Production Manager, Rasa

Duties and Responsibilities:

You are responsible;

• To assist in the fabrication of air cooler header boxes and associated structures as directed by the workshop supervisors


• To ensure the work area is kept clean and free from hazards


• To ensure all production tools and equipment are maintained


• To assist workshop welders, boilermakers and fitters


• To assist workshop and fitters in the cutting, grinding and preparation of steel items as directed


• To wear personal protective equipment at all times


• To ensure all assigned jobs are executed in a safe and timely manner


• In case low of production on assembly activities, production worker will be transferred to other section to assist


• To work with complying the company’s safety rules at all times


• To operate CNC Milling Machine and Bevelling Machine

• Any other jobs assigned from time to time by your Supervisor and Manager as and when required

Activities are to be undertaken in accordance with the Jord ISO system. You are responsible for the technical accuracy of the work you do.

Skills and Experience:

• Must possess minimum secondary school certificate or its equivalent


• If possess any related technical certificates for any field of studies is an added advantage


• Ability to read and speak Bahasa Malay and English


• Attention to details, strong teamwork spirit and positive working attitude


• Candidate must be willing to work in Rasa
