We are in search of an expert GENERALIST HR to join our dynamic team at TAN ZHUAN PLASTIC INDUSTRIES SDN BHD in Johor Bahru, Johor.

Recruitment – Office Staffs, Security Guards & Drivers

  • Sourcing candidates via recruitment agencies and job online advertisement
  • Manage the recruitment process and ensure candidates fit the role and company culture.
  • Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including recruitment, interviews, verifying work-history and references, and tracking of new possible candidates; conducting and analysing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
  • Help with new-hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons
  • Direct all hiring and training procedures for new employees.
  • Reviewing & updating job descriptions for all positions regularly.
  • Liaise with all branches’ HR administrator to measure employee retention and turnover rates

 

HR Management – Office Staffs, Security Guards & Drivers

  • Work directly with and report to the HR manager regarding all HR endeavours.
  • Support HR manager in educating employees on and enforcing company policies
  • Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews and assessments, discussing any problems or grievances they may have.
  • Dispute settlements according to labour law, Company rules & compliance guidelines
  • Work with HR Manager to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees
  • Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive.
  • Coordinate and direct work activities for supervisors and employees.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure supervisors and employees are properly connected.
  • Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.
  • Manage and supervise other HR staff, ensuring they are assigned and carry out proper tasks.
  • May have to travel frequently among branch locations to attend meetings and recruit employees
  • Make sure all health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Understand and adhere to all pertinent labour laws.

HR Administration – Office Staffs, Security Guards & Drivers

  • Handling administration of all contract labour.
  • Preparing and submitting all relevant HR letters/documents/certificates/ attendance as per the requirement in consultation with the management.
  • Maintain the company’s calendar and schedule any meetings the HR manager requires
  • Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
  • Execute all employee termination procedures, including advising employees on their rights and any benefits they are entitled to.
  • Process and follow up appointments, reassignments, promotions, and other HR decisions which generate personnel administration actions in a timely and thorough way, being sensitive to the human dimensions involved and tailoring actions accordingly
  • Liaising with all government agencies to ensure adherence to compliance laws and regulations.
  • Make sure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential.
  • Review, update and maintain proper filing such as employees’ medical insurance policies
  • Liaising with SOCSO for any workplace accident happens and insurance claims.
  • Liaising with third parties to get latest information for example like insurance agencies and recruitment agencies
  • Review departmental budgets Miscellaneous
  • Planning of company events or activities on occasions by management’s approval.
  • Organising training sessions or trainings for employees ensuring they are fully equipped to be able to perform their duties.
  • Support any other special projects the HR manager needs assistance with.
  • Handle and manage GPS Tracking System. (Troubleshoot issues with related person, make sure operation smoothly and assists in educate internal logistic team and other related departments)
  • Arrange and record meeting. (monthly& quarterly – drivers meeting, production meeting and etc)
  • Keep tracking on security patrolling system and report if any issues arise.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as when assigned or required.
