GL Assistant Manager (China Market - Mandarin Speaker)

Key Responsibilities:

• End -to -End Financial Management: Oversee full -spectrum accounting operations through to the preparation of balance sheets.Transactional Oversight: Manage AP/AR workflows and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger through regular bank reconciliation.
  

• Compliance & Audit: Lead month -end and year -end closing processes; serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax consultants.
  

• Document Control: Maintain systematic filing for all financial and administrative records.
  

• Cross -Functional Partnership: Coordinate with internal departments to provide data -driven financial insights and support team -wide initiatives.
  

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a professional qualification.
  

• Minimum 5 years of experience in full -set accounting (Regional experience preferred).
  

• Tech -savvy with proficiency in accounting ERPs and MS Office.
  

• Multilingual: Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Business -level Mandarin is mandatory to facilitate communication with stakeholders in China.
