Global Procurement Services Director

In this role, you will shape and execute procurement strategies that maximise value, strengthen supplier partnerships, and mitigate risk across our global footprint. You’ll work closely with colleagues around the world, sharing best practices, driving sustainable initiatives, and continually improving how we operate.

As a key leader within Asahi Group Procurement function, you will help influence our broader strategy, drive positive change, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team that values people, innovation, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and scale Asahi Global Procurement Services (AGPS) to deliver world-class, standardized services across regions and business units.
• Define and evolve AGPS service catalogue, SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide strategic leadership, fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged procurement culture.
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Oversee supplier partnerships, performance management, and quality assurance.
• Manage budgets and cost centres, driving cost-effectiveness and sustainable value creation.
• Champion digital transformation, automation, and AI to enhance efficiency, resilience, and user experience.

• University degree in Business or related field; Masters preferred.
• Extensive professional experience in Procurement Operations and senior leadership roles
• International experience in multinational companies, ideally in above-market procurement functions.
• Deep expertise in procurement platforms, systems, and advanced MS Office.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and governance capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead change, elevate operational excellence, and deliver sustainable value.
• Fluent in English; capable of influencing senior stakeholders globally
