Responsibilities

• Organize and manage the worldwide Corporate Income Tax (CIT) withholding tax (WHT) compliance process in collaboration with local finance controllers, regional tax managers, Treasury, and A/P teams.


• Assist in the preparation of all relevant WHT returns in close collaboration with local finance controllers, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations.


• Ensure mandatory tax withholdings are executed accurately.


• Manage and collect documentation required for withholding tax compliance.


• Conduct research and fact-finding on local tax legislation and relevant double tax treaties to prepare withholding tax advice for stakeholders, acting as a leader in the stakeholder management process.


• Monitor legislative changes and ensure they are implemented within the organization accordingly.


• Lead or assist with ad hoc direct tax-related projects.

Required skills and experience

• At least 5 years of experience in international income tax accounting and compliance.


• Familiarity with IAS 12 and tax accounting software (OTP experience preferred).


• Proactive attitude with a willingness to engage in continuous learning.


• Excellent internal and external communication skills.


• Strong project management skills and a proven team player.


• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.


• Willingness to operate on a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Tax, or a related field.
