Group Finance Assistant Manager

Company Background:

We are representing our client, a well-established and reputable public listed organization with strong presence in the manufacturing and industrial sector. They are looking for potential candidate to fill the position of Group Finance Assistant Manager to be based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Salary: RM5,000 - RM7,000

Work Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Working Day: 5 days/ week (8:30am - 6:00pm)

Job Responsibilities & Requirement: 

• Oversee group accounts function, including:
• Preparation of condensed consolidated accounts
• Periodic financial reporting
• Budgets, financial projections, taxation, and audits
• Prepare, analyze, and review group financial and management reports:
• Monthly management accounts, financial reports, and departmental reports
• Quarterly interim financial reports for Bursa announcements
• Yearly audited financial statements
• Annual budgets and financial projections
• Analyze group and divisional financial performance to support business decision-making with financial insights
• Collaborate with divisional management to generate monthly reports and provide variance commentary to senior management
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities to ensure statutory and financial reporting compliance
• Review and enhance internal control systems and departmental procedures
• Perform ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as required
• Member of ACCA, MIA
• Possess a Professional Certificate/ Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience (strong technical knowledge in accounting, taxation & law)
