Group Finance & Reporting Manager/Accountant (based in Ipoh)

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial Planning and Analysis - responsible for analysing financial data to help the Company make informed decisions about its future;
• Reviewing and responding to financial inquiries on management accounts (including overseas subsidiaries) and preparation of monthly Group management reports;
• Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the Group financial performance;
• Reviewing and consolidating of the Group annual and mid-year budgets and annual Group 3-year financial forecasts for the Board reporting pack and rating agency;
• Handling Group taxation, treasury and banking matters; and
• Supervising junior accounting staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified Accountant with professional certification or Degree in Bachelor of Accountancy;
• At least 5 years in relevant working experience;
• An analytical mind and a keen eye for details and desire to probe further into data;
• Solid technical background in MFRS, including consolidated reporting and statutory reporting experience;
• Deadline-oriented and able to work under time constraints;
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge; and
• Candidate with manufacturing experience will be an added advantage.
