STRATEGIES AND PLANNING
Responsible in providing advice and support to the HOO and/or the CEO of PUP Group relating to the palm oil mill operations and other related matters concerning the mill.
Suggest and implement improvement changes to increase performance and results to the CEO of PUP Group.
Overseeing the performance of the mill, implement strategies that provide direct impact to the profitability of the organization.
Help and guide the Assistant Mill Manager and Section Supervisors to focus on their priority areas that have direct and immediate impact on their objectives. This will mean that the Senior Manager has to make sure that each section has developed and follows SOP that prioritizes and guides the work to be done. The SOP covers, but is not limited to, the following: road access; workers welfare; sufficiency of well-trained workers, operators, fitters and electricians; adequacy of facilities for all staff within the mill; upkeep program; maintenance program; and sufficiency of supply of key stocks to ensure fulfilment of work programs.
Assist in the preparation of annual budget for the company.
Monitor annual budgets, including revenues, costs and profit margin as well as ensuring that the expenditures of the company are within the authorized budget.
Execute activities related to the formulation of the company’s corporate roadmap, annual business strategies, plans and KPIs.
Executing the implementation of the company’s long and short-term plans accordance with others Cluster’s strategy.
Provide support on governance management, business planning and performance management activities.
Drive and suggest innovation and adaption of new emerging technologies.
The position is based in Kinabatangan.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical/ Civil)
1st Grade Steam Engineer Competency Certificate from DOSH
10 years’ Mill experience and at least 3 years as Mill Manager
