Head of Finance (Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities

Business Performance & Profitability

• Monitor
  revenue, gross margin, operating costs, profitability, and cash flow
  across the group.
  
• Analyse
  profitability by business unit and highlight areas impacting the bottom
  line.
  
• Challenge
  budgets, forecasts, and assumptions, recommending corrective actions.
  
• Review
  major proposals, investments, and commitments from a financial and risk
  perspective.
  
• Identify
  margin leakage and assess financial impact of customer deals, contracts,
  and projects.
  
• Partner
  with Sales and Operations to ensure revenue growth is achieved without
  margin erosion.
  
• Liaise
  with legal advisers on contracts and agreements.
  

Financial & Governance Oversight

• Review
  management accounts and financial reports prepared by the accounting team,
  investigating significant variances or unusual items.
  
• Oversee
  compliance with listing requirements, continuous disclosure, IPTs, and
  corporate governance matters.
  
• Coordinate
  with auditors, regulators, company secretary, and professional advisers.
  
• Maintain
  robust internal controls and enterprise risk management processes.
  
• Lead
  budgeting, forecasting, working capital, cash flow, treasury, and capital
  allocation.
  
• Provide
  senior management with independent views on financial performance,
  business risks, and actions required to improve profitability.
  

Requirements

• Degree
  in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
  
• Professional
  qualification (CA Singapore, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  
• 10+
  years’ experience in finance, audit, FP&A, commercial finance, or
  risk.
  
• Exposure
  to listed‑company environment preferred.
  
• Strong
  knowledge of financial reporting standards (SFRS(I)/IFRS) and listing
  requirements.
  
• Commercial
  acumen in pricing, margins, credit risk, working capital, and
  profitability.
