Financial Planning and Analysis

Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models.

Monitor financial performance against budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.

Provide analysis and insights into business trends, financial performance, and strategic initiatives to aid senior leadership in decision-making.

Financial Reporting

Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with Malaysia's financial standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., MFRS).

Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Risk Management and Compliance

Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Work with internal and external auditors to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Develop and implement risk management policies to mitigate financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.

Cash Flow Management

Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for operations and investments.

Optimize working capital and support liquidity planning in alignment with company goals.

Oversee cash flow forecasts and ensure optimal allocation of resources.

Cost Management and Optimization

Lead cost control initiatives and identify areas for cost reduction.

Evaluate capital expenditure requests and manage investment evaluations.

Support strategic initiatives aimed at improving profitability and cost efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development

Lead and mentor the finance team, setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.

Oversee training and development programs to build team capabilities.

Foster a collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.

Strategic Financial Advice

Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on financial implications of business decisions.

Contribute to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, providing due diligence and financial analysis.

Assist in evaluating growth opportunities and making investment decisions.
