A foreign organisation in Penang has a state-of-the-art medical clinic administrating healthcare to their employees in Butterworth. They are in need of a high calibre Health Clerk.
The Health Clerk is responsible for providing clerical services in a timely, efficient and professional manner in accordance with Policies and Procedures, Medical-in-Confidence and Staff-in- Confidence standards.
Job Description:
- ensure protection of Personal Information in accordance with the PDPA Act 2010 Malaysia.
- ensure compliance with CLIENT and Country A's Standards on infection control.
- perform duties in an ethical and responsible manner, ensuring the appropriate use of organisation's resources.
- comply with Country A's security requirement, work health and safety laws, policies and guidelines, equity, diversity and fraud principles.
- provide services in support of patient care within the scope of practice of professional qualifications.
- report unusual trends, anomalies or incidents observed in the course of performing duties to the clinical supervisor or Health Centre Manager
- use the organisation's ICT Systems
Health Clerk accountabilities
- maintain electronic and hard copy health records.
- input health data to health and personnel management information systems.
- communicate and liaise effectively with internal and external customers, including other health services/ facilities to obtain patient information as required
- provide reports from databases when required to assist with the achievement of unit key performance indicators.
- process stores requests.
- perform filing and photocopying duties.
- file medical documentation.
- participate in auditing of health records.
- perform mail collection and distribution.
- order stationery and expendable stores from in-service and externalagencies
- other tasks/duties as directed to support the good order and function of the service (e.g. meeting attendance, supervision of Organisation's personnel, provide training) demonstrated ability to work in a customer service focus environment.
