Job Overview:

The Regional Director of Heavy Lift and Multiaxial Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing systems for lifting and transporting heavy loads or structures in multiple directions. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of mechanical engineering principles, structural analysis, materials science, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the heavy lift project department in Malaysia and Indonesia and the business development for Central Region and Indonesia (projects).
2. Manage key account for customers.
3. Serve as the Head of tender committee for general tendering.
4. Design and develop heavy lift systems capable of handling loads exceeding standard capacities. This includes cranes, hoists, lifting beams, and other lifting equipment.
5. Conduct structural analysis and simulations to ensure the integrity and safety of lifting systems under various load conditions. 
6. Develop motion planning algorithms and control systems for multiaxial movement of heavy loads. Ensure precision, stability, and safety during lifting and transportation operations.
7. Select appropriate materials and components for construction of lifting systems, considering factors such as strength, durability, and weight.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations governing heavy lift operations, such as OSHA regulations for crane safety or maritime standards for lifting equipment on ships.
9. Build and test prototypes of lifting systems to validate designs and performance specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and technicians.
10. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with heavy lift operations, including structural failure, instability, and operational hazards.
11. Lead or participate in projects involving heavy lift operations, coordinating activities with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
12. Review and negotiate business contracts to protect company interests.
13. Diagnose and resolve business issues effectively, while controlling costs to maximize revenue.
14. Stay updated with advances in heavy lift technology, materials, and methodologies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, safety, and reliability of lifting systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years working experiences in related field
• Proven experience in designing and analyzing heavy lift systems, preferably in industries such as construction, aerospace, maritime, or transportation.
• Proficiency in engineering software tools for structural analysis, CAD modeling, and motion simulation (e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB).
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, dynamics, and material science.
