Hotel Maintenance / Technician - Competitive Pay

As a Maintenance Technician in hotels, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all equipment, facilities, and structures are in excellent condition. You will be tasked with conducting routine maintenance checks, identifying any issues, and fixing them promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime.

Your duties will include repairing and replacing faulty equipment, performing routine maintenance on plumbing and electrical systems, and ensuring that all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units are functioning at optimal levels. You will also be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s physical appearance, including painting, plastering, and carpentry work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of general building and grounds at various facilities/sites including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• To perform maintenance repairs and services. To do daily technical inspection rounds and checks on the proper functioning of installations.
• Conduct corrective service and repair / restoration works where and when necessary.
• Schedule and oversee regular inspections and contract servicing to ensure the working conditions of all equipment.
• Manage an inventory record of parts and supplies, tools and equipment; · Perform general maintenance work.
• Operates and perform periodical checks on the maintenance equipment, water pressure, generator set, etc.
• Create a periodic maintenance schedule and also design preventive maintenance programs for the property.
• Highlight on any other matters that needs future upgrading work.
• Perform other duties from the norm as requested by Assistant Room Division Manager/Room Division Manager/General Manager.

Job Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM/STPM, Diploma or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.

• Able to carry out multitask and work independently with minimum supervision.
• Applicants must be willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• With skills in plumbing, air-conditioning servicing and trouble shooting, wiring & electrical, basic carpentry is an advantage.
