Position summary:
Provide consistent and yet agile HR services to support the growth of our business in Asia Pacific Region. Look at process improvements to ensure excellent customer and employee experience. Will need to actively participate in setup Share Service Center.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end HR services to managers and employees:
- Onboarding:
- Prepare employment contracts.
- Collect new hire documentation and ensure that all documents are processed accurately and timely.
- Offboarding
- Process employee offboarding transactions including terminations, and resignations timely.
- Internal mobility:
- Process job change requests (e.g. promotions, transfers) and ensure that all paperwork is completed and processed timely.
- Coordinate all inter-company transfers in accordance with the company policies.
- Work visa:
- Interface with employees to gather any documents required for visa application and submit work visa application timely.
- Manage payroll:
- Enter payroll transactions to the payroll system and process monthly payroll timely and accurately.
- Submit statutory contributions, tax withholding and reimbursements (e.g. maternity leave, national servicemen leave, childcare leave and any other statutory reimbursements) timely.
- Prepare annual tax filing documents.
- Manage HR system:
- Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS (new hires, terminations, job changes, compensation changes etc.).
- Maintain up-to-date employee documents and records (e-filing and/or hardcopy).
- Support HR programmes:
- Support annual performance, compensation, benefits reviews.
- Support learning and development programmes.
- Manage employee insurance renewals.
- Support HR policies implementation, reporting and compliance:
- Prepare HR reports (headcount, attrition etc.) as and when required.
- Review and update employee handbook and HR policies, procedures and processes as and when required.
- Submit surveys and statutory filing requirements accurately and timely.
- Manage HR inbox:
- Provide advice to employees on enquiries relating to payroll, benefits, HR policies and processes.
- Provide in-country administrative support across various company premises:
- Manage office leasing (new and renewals).
- Support office renovation and maintenance.
- Support visa application for overseas visitors.
- Others:
- Support and/or lead process improvement projects.
- Support the development of Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for HR services.
- Support statutory and financial audit.
- Support company events and employee engagement activities.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned as needed
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business preferably Human Resources Management discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in HR operations and processes, preferably in shared service centre environment.
- Good understanding of employment legislation across various jurisdictions.
- Experience in dealing with a multi-cultural workforce and working with different stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver timely and possess a sense of urgency to follow up for timely closure.
- Proactive and constantly looking for ways to improve processes and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
- Possess good team spirit and willingness to collaborate with others.
