HR Business Partner - Collaborative Environment

Job responsibilities:

• To develop, coordinate and administer a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR activities.
• To handle employee grievances in an effective and efficient manner, to preserve good employee relations and industrial harmony.
• To investigate, manage and control all the disciplinary and grievance mechanism, as well as conduct and participate in disciplinary process, such as disciplinary domestic inquiries (DI) as prosecutor and prepare recommendation papers for appropriate disciplinary actions.
• To use the PEOPLE strategy framework and work towards attracting and retaining people. 
• To create a business and value-driven diversity adapted to the business needs.
• To ensure that remuneration practices are competitive within the local market and Express industry, which enables us to attract and retain the right people in our business.
• To ensure compliance to HR related legislation and practices.
• To coordinate with operations team to provide HR strategy and organizational needs to drive HR projects people initiatives.
• To perform other job duties or projects as given by the Management.

Job requirements:

• Possess a Degree in HR or similar discipline.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably with proven experience as an HR Generalist with exposure to IR/ER handling.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to multitask effectively and accept impromptu assignments.
• Possess a thorough understanding of both the operational and strategic side of the business.
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
• Good knowledge of Malaysia employment/labour laws.
• Aptitude in problem-solving.
• Desire to work as a team with a result-driven approach.
• Excellent communication with the ability to interact well at all levels.
• Ability to converse in Chinese is an added advantage.
