Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)
The Human Resource Business Partner serves as the primary point of contact for employees within the assigned business unit. Working closely with managers and department heads, they oversee daily HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit. Additionally, they provide support for various HR initiatives, projects, and policies to ensure the smooth implementation of HR practices within the assigned business units.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the role and responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):
- Collaborating closely with HR Shared Services on payroll-related matters.
- Providing guidance to employees of business units on HR policies and practices.
- Offering performance management guidance to managers and department heads on matters such as staff counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Handling disciplinary issues and employee grievances within business units to ensure fair resolution of issues.
- Implementing engagement strategies for business units' employees.
- Managing the manpower budget and planning for hiring needs within the business unit.
- Managing the employee lifecycle, from recruiting - working closely with and supporting hiring managers to prepare and post job advertisements, screen applications, shortlist candidates for interviews, make job offers, and facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Coordinating interview sessions and conducting interviews with hiring managers.
- Supporting the half-yearly performance management review process for the business unit.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a bachelor’s degree / diploma in any relation Human Resources course.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years working experience in similar role.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Independent team player with ability to multi-task
- Positive working attitude
- A hands-on person that is proactive, driven and resourceful
- Strong in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good command in English in both spoken and written.
